railing extensio

I need this simple typical railing extension as per building code. Does anybody has a family lke that or is there anyway to have 2 end conditions in one railing?

Not sure the clever way, but if its getting complicated/time consuming, I would just model it.. In fact, if its not being seen in 3D, I would just model line it on plan..
