How are people doing kerbing, say around carparks?

I have created a profile family that has a 150x150 rectangle which will define the kerb shape, but is it then possible to sweep this profile along a line? And is it possible to make it a site object?

Thanks.

I can see no reason why that wouldn't work.

There are some kerb ( curb in US parlance ) elements in RUGI which will attach to site surfaces. I havn't tried them, but feedback was positive.

Thanks for the link.

But how are these families supposed to be used?
Are they to be put together like a big lego set? Straight runs made up of dozens of small segments? This would look terrible with all the joins between objects.

Haven't used them myself, but I would assume that "Join Geometry" would prevent the join lines from appearing.

Not to worry, I've just realised that the ends can be stretched and the curved ones can have the angles and radius' changed.
They seem a lot better now. Thanks.
