Is there a limit to the number of nested levels within the UniformatClassifications.txt file?
We're making changes to this file to work with our e-SPECS deployment. We've added some new subcategories to classifications that are more than 5 levels deep and Revit does not recognize them.
Here's a snippet from the UniformatClassifications.txt file that illustrates the condition:
A2020220 Foundation Waterproofing 5 -2000011
A2020221 Elastomeric Sheet Waterproofing 6 -2000011
A2020222 Thermoplastic Sheet Waterproofing 6 -2000011
A2020223 Hot Fluid-Applied Rubberized Asphalt Waterproofing 6 -2000011
We added the new category A2020220, and the nested options as indicated. In Revit, only A2020220 shows up in the "Choose Assembly Code" window, A2020221-3 do not.
