Can't open or edit Annotation Family

I made a family which has an annotation family loaded into it. However, I named the nested annotation family exactly the same name as the Model Family. Now, when I click on the Edit Fmily button, it does not open the Annotation Family as it used to. I cannot edit the labels anymore. This is weird. See attached Family...

I figured it out, all I had to do was slightly edit the file name of the model family, then it would allow me to open the annotation family. I guess it doesnt like when the names are identical.
