Help!
I've been doing a project in Revit 2010, but i need to send it to someone who's using Revit 2009 for them to make some changes. However, Revit 2009 won't load the file if it's saved in a newer version. Is there any way (like in Autocad) to simply save the Revit file 'down' a version?

 !!

Short answer, No. once you start a project in one version, you cant save down at all.

Oh My God....

Unfortunately, Revit has NEVER had the ability to save backwards, even before Autodesk bought it.

You can try doing a IFC out, and import it back into Revit 2009, but there will be a certain amount of functionality/objects lost.

This is why you absolutely have to have an upfront meeting with all members of your project team to find out who has what version of whatever software.
