Hi all,

I am about to upgrade my file to Revit Arch. 2010 and i was wondering if there is a procedure I should follow? Is there a Revit Family upgrade utility? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Dan

Just open the project in 2010. It will upgrade. Then save the file. That's it! Remember, there is no way to save to an earlier version, so plan accordingly!

For family upgrading there is a utility on the Revit disc. Put the disc in, and look at the disc's contents in Explorer (or do right-click - Explore on the drive). It is in the following location Utilities\Common\ContentBatchUtility

Read the readme file. It explains everything.

I wouldn't upgrade to 2010 until the first patch comes out. the program crashes frequently for a wide variety of reasons, rendering w/best, rendering on high/300, the Ribbon constantly goes crazy and scrambles itself so you can't see what you are doing, saving a Family crashes sometimes and a bunch of other things.

I need the option button to used the Classic User Interface. This new user interface is not freindly.
