Hello,
We have a file that has become very slow, the size of the file 100MB, we have larger files that are working OK, is there anything you can recommend I can check that could be slowing down this file?, it takes time to make simple changes, placing walls, etc. I will appreciate your help,
Thanks a lot,
Oscar

A few things you can do to try and improve performance (not necessarily in this order):
Clear out your warnings dialogue. Go to Settings>Review Warnings
Re-Save the file and Compact.
Adjust your view settings to a lesser level of detail and wireframe graphics if possible.
Don't open worksets that you don't need right now.

Lots of Revit Model Lines will slow down the file.
Lots of items constrained to other items can have an impact.
Lots of Linked AutoCAD files
A Lot of items with Graphics Overrided in a view.
Live 3D views placed on Sheets

I have also heard that imported raster images can slow down your file. I can't say from experience, though.

Lots of filled Regions and Masking Regions in large plans will slow them down.
Having too many users opening the file at once will slow things down. Keep it to 4 or less if you can.
Having any of the Advanced Model Graphics Setting turned on (Shadows or Edges) will slow down views,
Large view depts. on roof plans can slow them down.
Turning off irrelevant categories within the view will speedup views regeneration.
