Bearing Points Above Cutplane

I'm drafting up a floor framing plan and I'm trying to view all my bearing points (post locations) from the floor above but I can't seem to view them. I played with the View Range but I'm having NO luck, what do I do, or is this even possible? My cut plane is at 6' above finished floor so I can see my openings (header locations) and I set the Top to beyond the upper floor but still see nothing.
Any ideas?

Did you turn off ceilings and floors in your visibility/graphics settings?

Yes they're off. It doesn't matter what what value I place in the Top Range, it displays no different.

One thing you might do is go to your view properties and set the level above as your underlay.

I tried that and it shows the walls above but not the stuctural columns

Hmm... it worked when I tried it. The columns aren't ebedded in the walls are they? See attached screen shot of the way it looks on my machine.

Yep, All my stuctural columns are within the walls, and I made my walls transparent but still nothing. This is driving me Crazy.

Yep, that works good to display them on my floor framing plan. my only problem with that is it now shows up on my foundation plan, and many of those point loads bear on a beam at the floor level. (no footing required at that point) I guess I could go around and hide those required unless you know a better way.
