jumpy or pausing aperture/cursor

My company just upgraded us to AutoCAD 2010 from 2009.

When I move the crosshairs across the screen, the aperture pauses, then jumps as it passes over every single object. I've turned off every little snap and tracking I can find, but it's still doing it. I can't find any more settings that could be making it pause and jump around.

It's making the program almost unusable.

We have this problem on a few machines as well... try unchecking "Show rollover tooltips" under the Display tab in Options. That fixed it for us.

Sounds like DUCS (dynamic ucs) is turned on to me?

Try setting UCSDETECT to 0 if Paul's suggestion doesnt solve it.
