Hello -
I am trying to develop a column and beam (post and beam) in Revit 2010 but am having trouble with the extrusion mechanism. The post is a 1x3 glulam that is tilted out at 15 degrees, and intersects with an 1x4 glulam that is also at a 1:17 pitch (see the attached pdf)
Given the prohibition of angles in the extrusion manager, I am having trouble modeling this. Can anyone please suggest a path that might be effective at doing this? I would prefer to do this as an extruded column and beam, rather than build a wall element and dress it up as as a column and beam ....
