I probably should have started a new post to ask this question instead of replying to an existing older post because I have noticed many reads but no replies.
I need to understand what I am doing wrong with creating this simple window.
(see original post dated 06-05-2008 by tach5) I started with Cathy's base file and began adding the frame and glazing. I generated a frame profile and swept the perimeter which is locked with the family parameters (I think). The glass is an extrusion which sits inside the storefront profile and I thought I had that locked with the ref planes & line also.
When I "flex" the family parameters, the frame works fine but the glass does not flex with the sloped head.
I am very new so I must be missing something simple .......
My intent was to create a simple aluminum storefront window that I could adjust frame dimensions for width, height, and pitch of roof. Being very new to Revit, understanding every nuance is hard. Any assistance from you masters would be appreciated.
