Are there any issues with installing RAC 2010 and 2009 side by side? We have a network install. I realize there are file compatibility problems but i'm looking to incrementally upgrade.

Hi Michael,

I have both installed on my box without any issue whatsoever. (Although 2010 is laying dormant until WU1 is out and about!) Mine is standalone rather than network, but I don't think there would be any difference in this regard.

Cheers,

Ian

No problem installing in a network setup at all.

The only thing that I noticed is that Revit (at least 2010) wanted to link to both the 2009 and 2010 Imperial Libraries and Training Files. So, you do need to go clean that up.

Not sure about the Places dialog in Options (if that's what you're referring to), but the folders shown on the Favorites list on the far left of the File > Open/Save box will be the same in both 2009 and 2010. If you make changes to that list of icons in one, it will carry over into the other program.

Is a new license manager required? I'm on 11.4.100.0.
