is it possible to copy a group of walls to other floors that have a different floor to floor height and still have them constrain to the different floor heights?

When you Paste the walls onto the next level they will be constrained to the floor above similar to the original. However they will have an offset that will force them to match their original height. After you paste them, you will have the new walls selected. Before you deselect them, you can adjust all of their Instance Properties to remove the offset.

In my experience, I have had some problems later on down the road when I have constrained the top of a wall in a group to the level above. My solution has to been to set the walls to an unconnected height of 9'-0" (or whatever seems appropriate). Then, if a particular wall shows up in a section, I attach the top of it to the floor/ceiling/roof object above. But in reality, most of my walls end up with a gap between their top and the ceiling.

so technically there is no really good way to do this. you'd think they would have solved this already since this isn't something that isn't that uncommon in the world of architecture
