Revit 2009 - Opening issue

I am getting a strange behavior where the opening that is being created in a wall is actually shifted from the opening element. what would cause this?

I would suspet coordinate really far from the origin. Is there a DWG really far form the origin in this project, or is the project position really far from the Revit origin?

There are some autocad plans that may have a point way off, but the model was not built far from the revit origin as far as I know. I forget, how do I find the revit origin?

In 2010 there are sub-categories under "site" of Survey Point and Project Base Point. These can help you know if you are working far from the revit origin.

In 2009 it is a little more challenging. You have to use the "report shared coordinates" tool or "specify coordinates at a point" this can help you figure out where the Revit origin is in relation to your model.
