I am using Revit Architecture 2009.

I have one room tag in my project that insists on moving to the lower left corner of the room. I have tried deleting the tag and adding a new one, that works fine for a while but when I save to central I get a warning telling me my room tag is outside of the room, and when I look back at the problem room the tag has moved again.

When I toggle the leader line on and off the tag moves back to the center of the room but will move back to the lower left corner of the room when I save.

Any one have any ideas what could be causing this?

Thanks,
JG

Go into your Visibility/Graphics diaklog and click on the + next to Rooms
There are several sub-categories under Rooms, one of which is Reference.
Check Reference, and the Xs that define the "origins" of Rooms will appear.

You'll probably find that Room "origin" is in the corner. You can drag it to the Center of the Room and if you get the "Move to Room" prompt again, that's where it will go.

The Origin is also where the Leader points to.

The room origin is pretty much in the center of the room. If you take a look at the attached image you can see the green line that points to the origin. But for some reason the room tag still prefers to be in the lower left corner of the room.
