Wall Sweep Missing Detail Component

I have a profile for a wall sweep that has a detail component loaded into it. When I load that profile into a project and use it as a wall sweep, the detail component is not showing, only the profile. Any ideas?

Check to see if there are Visibility settings for the detail component in the Family.
Sometimes these get overlooked.

Also, be sure Detail Items are turned on in the view.

Visibility in the family/profile is on, as are details in the view.
Any other suggestions?

Any chance your wall sweep is on a curved wall or that your section is not perfectly perpendicular to the wall being cut? In either of these instances, the detail component will not show.

Can someone explain this behavior to me...
When I nest a detail component into a profile, then apply that profile as a wall sweep, all goes as planned and the profile sweeps along the wall and the detail component shows.
However, when I change that detail component to a shared detail component and reload in the project, the detail fails to show in the wall sweep.
The reason I'm doing this is so that I can apply a "family/type" parameter to the nested detail and I can theoretically control the detail in the profile and wall sweep.
Is there reason a shared nested detail won't show in a profile sweep?
