View Full Version : Model lines on a view workset?!?

I have several model lines on a New Construction site plan. For some reason when I hover the mouse over these lines, it says the workset is my Existing Site Plan view. These lines show up in both the New site plan and 3D views set to New Construction. They do not show in my Existing site plan at all. When I open the properties of these model lines, there is no workset parameter listed.

When I hover over the lines I see:

View "Floor Plan: Existing Site Plan" : Lines : Model Lines

I just selected all the lines, right-clicked and chose Make Elements Editable. Then suddenly I got a Workset parameter in the instance properties box, but the field was blank. I was able to change them all to my Site workset.

What the heck?

This is a known bug. Make sure to file a support request on it. To fix the objects, you will need to Cut them to the clipboard and paste them back in Paste Aligned --> Same Place.

Seems I fixed it simply by changing the workset of the lines in question to the correct user-defined workset.

You must have had a unique case. In all instances where I have encountered this, the workset pull down list in the instance properties is blank except for the one "view" workset. So it can't simply be changed. It's definitely easier to change in the instance properties if you can.
