Roof Eaves Line

I have a particular problem where I need to have a roof with a differing section whose eaves height will be higher at a portico.

When sketching the roof in Revit I can assign different heights to those line segments around the portico in order to give me the (semi) desired effect.

You'll see on the images that the fascia line tracks up to meet the raised section. Is it possible to have them split so that there is no up/down ward tracking of the roof fascia line??

I'm not sure if this is what you want but you can try splitting the portico roof line by 1/32", at the corner where it meets the main roof (at both sides). Then select that small line and uncheck the option "Defines slope" and also make it at the same height as the main roof's eaves.

Yeah, I know, I don't like doing these 1/32" workarounds but sometimes we just have to get things done in a way or another...

But on this case, the 1/32" won't show anywhere because the portico roof extends to meet the main roof, as its eaves get higher, thus getting rid of that small piece of line. In another words, it's there only to create the roof's footprint in a way that Revit understands and give you the results you want.

You can also just build a separate roof for that piece.
