Void Extrusion

Hi again,

I'm working on the massing tools tutorial and don't seem to be able to get my void extrusions to cut the mass. I get these yellow sections where the extrusions should be and when I try to finish sketch this error message comes up.

I guess it's a subtractive process like in inventor, but I'm not quite sure what I'm doing wrong in this instance?

Ah NVM. After many attempts I finally managed to do this, I think I was not quite getting the SI command right, my boxes must not have been connecting to the geometry properly.
