cant purge

I'm working on a large scene and I'm unable to purge it - run out of Memory

Has anyone got a work around??

Try unloading as many linked files as you can, make sure all views are closed except for one, close as many Windows applications down as you can, if you're using worksets try closing as many of those as you can, cross your fingers and then hope for the best.

No linked files or worksets at this stage....
I'm gonna try and manually delete families from the Project Browser (Crossing Fingers & Toes)

Do you have a bunch of model groups?

We have seen this in those types of files when some objects "loose" their ID numbers. In 2009 this is a known issue. Only way we got it fixed, was to send the file, plus journals to subscription support, to get the file "fixed".
