Is it possible to rename a Department in a Room Name Tag or through the Legend Color Fill? I tried via Properties and ended up with 2 different names. Any help much appreciated.

You need to go back to your Room Schedule and change the Department ( Sales, Sales Area, Storage ) names there.
You can't change the department names through the room name tag or the colour fill dialogue.

Thanks Beegee, that makes sense to have the schedule controlling the
names etc.

Your question sounds like you are missing the distinction between the room and area functions. Rooms are defined by wall boundaries and room separation lines. Areas are defined by area boundaries.
Room tags will let you edit the data associated with a room, like department. Selecting the tag, right click, properties should yield the option to edit department among others.
Area boundaries and associated tags identify areas that are not associated with rooms and as such have their own name and "department" is not part of the data set of areas.
Sounds like you attempted to edit department via an area tag versus a room tag. If you "name" an area it does not have a connection to any room name or associated data. That's how you ended up with two different names most likely.
Think of the area tools as a way to analyze your project's scope in larger chunks than a room schedule will without grouping by departments etc. Though, you can certainly use the area tools to create a nice colored plan of a project by room as well.
Hope this helps?
