North Direction

Is there any way to specify which way is north on the screen?

Example: I have a plan which should display the front of the building to the bottom of the screen in all plan views. However, on the site plan, I would like the building to rotate to the proper location on the site. Can I just tell the computer which direction is north for that view somehow?

Under View Properties, change the project orientation to "True North " ( Project North always points up the screen )

Then under Settings > Locations & Co ordinates > Rotate this project/ True North. You will get a rotate tool or you can enter the rotation angle.

You should also mention after doing this you can go to any view and set the display to either project north or true north...
