How do you but the degree symbol in text? And the diameter symbol?

ACAD you typed %%d or %%c at the end of your text.

How does it work for Revit?

Thanks

I just did some research and this seems to be the common answer. Seems to me that this should be in Revit somewhere.

Thanks for your reply

In 2009 and previous versions, Alt + 0176 and Alt + 0216.

But if you're using 2010, unfortunately that's another of the many bugs: it doesn't work. The only way at the moment is to use Charmap .

Autodesk is aware of the problem.

Attached is a list of symbols that work in 2009 or earlier releases.

I have not installed 2010 yet so cannot comment on the new release.

I can comment on the new release. None of the Alt + symbols work. This functionality was removed in 2010.

The weird thing about RAC2010, is that at least one of the symbols seems to be working
ALT+0174 = "R" as in registrered trademark.... (using "Calibri" as the font)
Havn´t found any other working symbols though...

Normally the first symbol tried using alt keys will work, there after you get random results.
