View Full Version : Creating "visible" text in View Titles

Since my last post I am trying to figure out how to create text that can simply be checked on in viewport titles. I know how it works and how to use it with title blocks, but for the life of me I cannot apply the same techniques to get it to work using a view title family. Is there any way to create the "visible" text option with viewport titles?

Thanks,
Shaylon

See previous response to your other thread below:

Another unfortunate limitation with these system families.
Parameters can not be mapped to view titles (only views). This means that any variable must be type driven. This also affects spot elevations which makes them very cumbersome.

Hopefully someone else can provide a nifty workaround until Autodesk gives us a bit more control regarding system families.

The same limitations exist for any parameter type even the visibility parameters. This is due to the view title family being nested within a Viewport system family. This eliminates the possibility of utlizing any instance based parameters. Just create multiple types for your conditions as swap out the types as necessary.
