i want to imbed a door into a window that i have made....

when i go to load it it cant do it (i assume because in creating the window i have removed the wall from the location at the center of the window...where i need the door)

the door is surrounded in storefront (should i start with the door?)

The opening that the door makes needs to touch a wall at least on one side (side or top). If you open the door family (and save a copy to be your storefront door) you can select the opening and stretch it on one side to cover the distance from where the door will be to the edge of the window. It only needs to touch one. If you cross select everything and use the filter, the opening is the 'Other' category. You may need to place the door to the side of your window and then align/lock it into place. If you want the door to schedule, make sure that you click the 'Shared' option in Category and Parameters.
