Revit and Facilities Management

Has anyone here had any experience with using Revit and other software for Facilities Management? I'm interested in the process of utilizing architectural Revit models and exporting them to 3rd party Facility Management tools, and how well those tools work.

Any software you could suggest or recommend? Experiences good or bad.
