Built In Short Cuts

Is there any way to change the Keyboard Shortcuts that are built in?
for example "R" 2009 = Rotate
now "R" is now Room I cant get it to switch even if I change it in the KeyboardShortcuts.txt file. any ideas???

It works for me with my out-of-the-box install...so I'm not sure what the problem is. Also, at least the rotate command is one of the few that only shows up once through the 1400 lines so I am sure it should work if you only change that one instance.

try this...after making the change in the txt file, are you restarting Revit? what about restarting the computer? if that doesnt work, try setting it to something else like "RO" or "RR". (Sometimes if there was another command with the same letter it would void both and do nothing for me) And if that still doesnt work...check with your IT guy. :) haha! j/k- good luck!
