I installed the Revitkeys iPhone app after seeing it mentioned on Steve Stafford's blog
http://revitoped.blogspot.com/2009/06/iphone-app-revit-keys.html

Just what I needed having invested in extra programmable keys from:

The app is well worth the pence it costs IMHO.

Just wondering but could you use the following keyboard from logitech in Revit as well?

I know it says gaming keyboard but isn't Revit much more fun to play with than other cad applications?

That looks pretty cool - if a little weird :)

Yes, I would think it will work - anything which generates the two character combinations.

is an English language link.

However the LCD display will only work with compatible applications - there is a list on the Logitech site (all games)

X-keys also make much larger programmable keypads and the USB versions will allow entire essays to be made into a one key macro.

Ultimately whatever you are comfortable with and falls nicely under the 'other' hand so that you can hit the keys without looking.

Slightly OT from the OP, but in the realm of xiqx' post. I use the Logitech G9 for my Revit mouse and I have many keyboard shortcuts programmed into the macro buttons available and it works fine. The same concept of the programmable keystrokes applies to that keyboard, and I think it even uses the same customization software.

Hope this helps you xiqx.

You need a programmable keyboard, something like this (http://www.artlebedev.com/everything/optimus/). That one's a little old, but I'm sure I've seen more recent and stylish keyboards using the same technology floating around on the web somewhere.

Or how about this thing (http://www.core77.com/blog/object_culture/a_truly_customizable_auxiliary_keyboard_13615.asp).
