[2010] Keep Elements Selected (OPEN)

I have two windows open. Floor plan and section. So I want to copy 2 elements from the section so I highlight them in section. Click on copy, select the floor plan view and BANG now nothing is selected! Start over and try to remember to select in one view, switch to other view, then select the command.

Select them, switch to the other view then click Copy. What you can do for now...not negating your wish.
