i modeled an area and made it specifically for ADA mounting heights, signage etc. and set up a view in my job (an interior elevation from the model).......i can't seem to bring the view of my interior elevations into my current job.... i guess i should have made it (the ADA mounting heights graphic) in a drafting view?

You can only import 2d graphics between projects. You could import it as a model group with attached detail views. If you dont get everything with the import then try copy/ pasting between views (with both still open)
