Is there a way to have all of the revisions that have been issued show up on the titleblock? I'm on my 3rd revision but 1 & 2 don't show up on the titleblock because they've already been issued. I just want to have a record the the names, dates, etc. on sheets.

are you using the revision schedule for your titleblock?

From RAC 2010 Help:

" By default, the revision schedule on a sheet lists the revisions relating to revision clouds in the views of the sheet. Use the following procedure to list more revisions on the revision schedule.

This procedure assumes that you have created a project with views and sheets that include revision schedules, entered revision information, added revision clouds to views, and tagged the clouds.

To specify the revisions to include in a revision schedule

Open a sheet.
Zoom in on the revision schedule in the title block for the sheet.
Right-click in the drawing area, and click View Properties.
On the Instance Properties dialog for the Sheets, for Revisions on Sheet, click Edit.
The Revisions on Sheet dialog lists all revisions entered in the Sheet Issues/Revisions dialog. Revisions assigned to clouds in views on the sheet are already selected, and they are read only.

Select Shown in Revision Schedule for each revision that you want to include in the revision schedule on this sheet.
Click OK twice.
The revision schedule on the sheet updates to include the selected revisions."

Does this help?

cheers.......

Edit: Not sure about revisions already issued?

Sweet! That totally worked! Although it's not a global change so I'll have to do that to every sheet, but it's good to know! Thanks!

I have revisions on the sheet that are set to not show tag or cloud but they still show up in the schedule. Is there any way to turn them off in the schedule and leave them in the views/ on the sheet?

thanks,

Nick

Perhaps you could filter the revision schedule to start at a particular revision number?

As far as I can tell you cant filter (no filter tab) the revision schedule. Am I missing something?

Along the similar post above, I've just started a revision schedule and set it to be "by sheet" since I'm sure that is how we are going to issue changes in the future...

I'd like to add to all the sheets "Revision 1 issued for Bid" I sit possible to do a global property change once I've set it to do revisions by sheet? Can I do Revisions "by project" first and then apply the change then set it to "by sheet"? or will that get rid of the "by project setting"...

Is this possible or do I have to go thru every sheet and change the properties?

Thanks
Tim

Either way, you'll have to go sheet by sheet and edit the properties or each, or do it the old fashion way; make a short piece of a revision cloud for that revision, and place it in a corner of the title block, between the edge of your drawing area, and the edge that will be "bound". Then you can copy it, and with one command, Paste to selected views (sheets) that you want to past it into. As long as the titleblocks have not been moved, it will not mess up the plotting, but will place it on all sheets you selected.
