Visibility problem in RAC2009

We are having a problem where a wall doesn't show up after we've drawn it. The missing wall was created by right clicking on an existing wall and creating similar. The wall must exist since the room boundary cuts around it (see attached file). We think we have checked obvious settings such as visibility graphics and view range. Is there another setting I should be checking? Can anyone help with this?

I would cut a section thru it or look in a 3d view to see where it was placed. Is it part of a design option or workset?

We have tried the workset the 3d view and the design option but not the section. I will have them do that. thanks for the help!
