Scheduling Type Parameters

I've started creating some families where fixed data (width, manufacturers reference code etc) is recorded as a Type Parameter, and optional data (Colour, Accessories etc) is an Instance Parameter.

How do I schedule the Type Parameters (as well as the Instance Parameters)? At present I've got myself a bit stuck and cannot work this out.

Guidance would be much appreciated.

If the parameters you want to schedule are "custom" parameters, they need to be created from a shared parameters file. The shared parameters need to be used when creating parameters in the family AND when creating the parameters in the schedule... this is the ONLY way Revit can know that the parameters are truly the same and not just coincidentally the same name.

Thanks for your reply. I spent a bit of time today getting familiar with Shared Parameters. Usual story, avoid delving into an unfamiliar area due to time and hassle, then once you get to understand you think 'Hey, cool!'
