High I'm having trouble with my line display. The lines look choppy and not really clean. I've tried the Regen command, detaching and reattaching xrefs, changing the display options on both the monitor and AutoCAD, closing down the program and even restarting the computer. It was looking fine earlier, but all of a sudden it started looking like that. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Can it be the file?

Please Help! Thanks.

have you updated anything lately? like something that would affect your video drivers? any problems in other programs? other files, or just this one?

Hi

What exactly do you mean "lines look choppy and not really clean", can you please post a screen shot so we can see....

Is this only occurring within one drawing file?

If yes, have you Lineweight's turned On -

display changes to pline when zooming (http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=7314)

Have a good one, Mike

No. All I did was replace the xref wiith a new one? Would that have anything to do with it?

Here is a picture of what it looks like. I also tried the other forum that you sent and the lineweight button is of.

Hi

Take a look at LTScale, PSLTScale & ViewRes, refer to the AutoCAD Online Help File [F1] for information on these if needed.

Have a good one, Mike

I tried those and they dind't work. Thanks but I think its the monitor resolution it may jus be old, or the video card is messed up.

Hi

Have you checked the Graphics Card Manufactures web site for a more up to date Driver?

Have you experimented with different Screen Resolution settings?
