Trouble snapping to wall core inside corner point

In doing my dimensioning I can't find a way to snap to the inside corner point of the wall core. (I need to do this for non 90 deg wall corners) It will not find the end point or the intersection of the core, it will however find those snaps on the finish wall face. I've tried to start a detail line from that point also with the same results. I'm using 7.0 if that makes a difference. What am I missing?

Upon further review this only seems to be occuring on intersections vrs corners.

If you really need to dimension to the core of an angled wall you can detach the wall from its adjacent walls and convert a temp dimension (with the temp dimension set to the core). Then re-attach the walls. (Thanks to Beegee for this one).
