I've never seen this before, and frankly it's hard to explain, so I'm including an attachment. You'll see in the image that there are several extra windows that appear when attempting to use a crossing window to select viewports in a sheet view. We've just started using 2010 and I have downloaded WU1. Anyone ever see this before? :screwy:

Are you using a crossing window (down-left) or a windowing window (up-right)?

I see this happen when a sheet is brought in from CAD and exploded in Revit. it looks like those windows are tied to some text that you are selecting when you do your crossing window on the sheet.

Thanks for the responses. First of all it doesn't seem to matter which way I do the crossing window, the same thing happens both ways. Second, it can't be an exploded CAD file, because I've replicated this behavior in an empty file where there isn't even a template loaded. All it takes is for any view to be placed on a sheet. The more views, the more windows appear.

Just noticed that the same thing happens to me when box selecting objects within an active View on a sheet with many views.

Is it just the selection box being shown in other views?

Seems harmless at the moment.

Also experiencing the same thing here, when selecting anything in a sheet view, or even when drawing lines. It makes for some wacky graphics, like endpoint icons or various arrow icons appearing way out in space, away from what I'm doing (drawing lines on a sheet, etc).
