Filled Regions

When doing filled regions is there a way to get windows or doors to automatically cut into regions? If I drawn a filled region around a window and than move the window, can I get the region to update? I'm doing this because I don't want the concrete, brick or etc to fill the entire section or elevation, this is the best way of doing it right?

You could try using split faces and the "paint" each region with different materials.

Thats not to bad :lol: I'm just using "Default" to blank out the areas where I don't want the hatch to show.

Or you could align and lock your sketch lines to the outline of the window.

The old "align" tool bites me again... every week I love this tool even more...:)

You can get some strange results when you move the window, and sometimes moving the window breaks the filled region completely.
