Drop down menus in properties not dropping down

I've been getting really aggravated with this lately, I click on the drop down button and no drop down...I can type it in if I know what it is, and it's only on the little revit buttons, the regular window sized buttons work fine if that makes any sense....somebody help me please!

Well I found the answer on revitcity, I had revit on my second monitor...put it back on the primary and they work fine.....revit needs better support for dual monitors

Yes, you are right this is the issue with dual monitors. Actually I have the same problem with much of my software. Quickbooks doesn't work right with drop down menus on the 2nd monitor either. However, with QB Customer Manager it does work! So I don't know jack about programming but there is something funky there.

I think that's a video driver issue and not related to your software. My dual monitor setup works fine as do those of some others I know.
