Image Embedding

I am using Raster Design 2009 and have embedded a .cal file into the drawing file. However, it seems that DWG TrueView 2010 does not show the embedded image at all.

Any suggestions?

Try exporting the cal file to a tif or jpg format and insert that into the dwg.

I'm guessing you will need the ARD Object Enabler. I don't know whether you can install the OE for Trueview though.

This would be great for a few files but we have 1000's of files. The upside is we have not embedded images into our production drawings. We are/were in the testing stages of using this option. But thanks for your reply!

I couldn't find one for Trueview. This would be such a great feature for us because while we may have 100+ engineers and techs that do have the native software and are quite use to managing hybrid files into and out of a document management system. We also have over 1000 field people (Substation electricians, Relay techs, linemen, etc...) that access these files. Unfortunately this will prevent us from being able to take advantage of this feature.
