I am wondering if anyone has run into this ... sometimes when changing a view, let's say plan to south elevation, the view magically disappears... and I have to close the drawing and open it to get the view back. ???

Just try hitting F5 - refresh. That usually does it for me. Seems like a graphic card issue.
