Polygon Viewport

When I am making a polygon viewport and turn the vp layer off, the viewport becomes a rectangle. Any thoughts. I'm guessing there is a setting somewhere?

This is a known limitation
I'm sure someone will link you to a recent
thread on these viewports and plotting to PDF.
I would suggest place the viewport object on
a NO PLOT layer and leave it on.
