I have an alignment that shows the stationing and even the direction arrow but doesn't show the station tick mark. I have searched and can't seem to find the setting to make this appear. Lil help from the gallery?

The station tick mark would need to be added as a block or line to the Major or Minor Station label. Or it can be it's own station label. Check out the Civil 3D templates that ship with the product.
