When I place (or select) grid lines on a curtainwall the temporary dimensions appear but there are no handles for moving the witness lines. Is there a setting I've missed somewhere?

My understanding is that curtain grids only relate to other curtain grids and to the curtain wall perimeter, not to other geometry or RP's. Hence the only temporary dimensions available are to those items.

You can set up a string of dimensions to pick up cw grids and RP's etc and adjust the RP's from there.

I agree this is inconsistent Revit behaviour.

It works in 7 the same it works in 6.1 so I guess there's nothing new here. Just seems a little odd. What about the ability to place a grid relative to a reference plane? I know placing a dimension will allow grids to be manipulated relative to other objects, but I'm curious why temporary dimensions can't be re-referenced when working with grid lines.
