Convert 2010 back to version 5.5

Is there a way for an end user with Navisworks 5.5 to convert a version 2010 nwd file back to 5.5?

No. Not with v5.5. How would an older program understand a newer format, much less convert it?

Autodesks TrueView software converts ACAD versions back. I was hoping there was something similar for NavisWorks. Ever used TrueView?

Yes, but an older version of TrueView, say 2008, cannot handle 2010 DWG files.

So the firm working in Navisworks 2010 will need to be made aware of any team members working in older versions and save their models to the older format for them.
