A co-worker of mine saw a demo with ADT where the finished building model was linked to an external project scheduler such as Common Point or Primavera. Once tied to the database, you can view the model as it would be constructed in kind of a real time movie of sorts. Does this make any sense? If it does; does Revit have this ability?

Thanks

Revit has the ability to do such 'Time eventing' sequences using the phases options.
You can phase any 'Family' within Revit
The problem at the moment is that this is done via. the Family properties
to set the phase of that particular object.

It is hoped that in time, revit will be able to do this with linking construction programmes with the actual programming schedule.

I presume this -realtime movie- running through ADT phases is done with a plugin or something? I use ADT2004 but haven't heard of such function as part of the standard abilities [phasing though is quite similar and slightly more extensive to the way it is in Revit..]
