Maximum character count for an inputted parameter

Does anyone know if there is a maximum character count for a data field in Revit? I have a client wanting several paragraphs of text information/data filling the "Comment" instance parameter. Any known issues or limitations?

I just tried inserting over 1000 characters into a door comment field and it scheduled it with no errors. I even included line returns.
