site import

I have recieved 3d site data from civil. I import according to the tutorial and bingo, the grand canyon shows up. It creates a fantastic landscape but not from this world.

Any thoughts as to what is going on?

More than likely one of the contours in the 3D site file was drawn at the wrong elevation by your civil consultant.

Try opening the civil file you received from your consultant and checking to make sure all the contours are at the correct elevation. If one is not, change it to the correct elevation and reimport it into Revit, and generate your site again.
