We have a Revit file that houses nothing but our Typical details in drafting views. Some of these details use 2D Line Based Components. When we load them in to our project using Revit's "load into projects", the details come in as detail groups as expected. When dragged into a Detail or Drafting view for the first time these detail groups look perfect. However if for some reason we have to reload these outside details due to revisions made in our typical details file, we experience problems in the Detail Views. Below is what we have found.

Detail groups that have "2D line Based detail components" don't like to be reloaded when the detail group resides in a "Detail View". Works fine the first time, but when reloaded (using "Load into Projects" again) causes the 2D Line Based elements to go into "Excluded Member" status. We can perform a Group, Restore All on these groups but not all of the 2D line based slements get restored. Some are gone completely. However, those same detail groups dragged into a Drafting View work without problem on a reload.

The details groups without 2D Line Based Components, loaded and reloaded in both Detail and Drafting Views with no problems at all. As soon as I added a 2D Line Based Component to one of these working details, the reloading problem affected them only in the Detail Views, but worked correctly in Drafting views.

Question:
Have any of you experienced this problem?
