I am having trouble controlling the extents of a level in one of our projects. I think the problem stems from having 2 parts of the building at 45 degree angles to each other. With larger projects I always try to keep the 3d extents of levels localized to their relevant area so they don't show up in sections they don't relate to for the most part.
So I think the 'square' layout of some levels was created 45 degress to the others. The problem I am having is that I want to set the extents of the level 'box' in an elevation based on being 90 degrees to one part of the building, the level being created at another angle won't let me get the 2 ends closer to each other than a certain distance. Which I think stems from the fact that if they were closer than they are now, in the view that is 90 degrees to the level the 2 ends would swap sides.
I tried selecting the level and seeing if I could rotate it in a plan view, but that didn't seem to do anything.
Any ideas? Thanks.
