[2010] Find and Replace Circuits (OPEN)

i need some thing like find and replace for circuits for specific panel
for example if i want to change circuit 5 by circuit 3
i don't want to go the panel and move up and down
i need directly to change the circuit name

Are you referring to renaming the circuit on a "find and replace" basis?

Like looking for all instances of "RECEPT" and replacing it with "RECEPTACLE?"

If you find the solution to this elsewhere, please post it here. Trying to enter as-built information with the current system of moving circuits around on the schedules is tedious at best.

What about accessing it from the system browser properties.

I know it's not as easy as a simple element properties change, but you dont have to go to the panel itself.
